"We are very happy with this daycare. Our son is always welcomed with affection, and we feel that he is in a caring environment. I had my doubts in the beginning about the concept of the vertical group with children from 0 to 4 yo since my son was a baby. But we have seen how much he learns from the older children, and know he also learned to interact with the younger babies and being gentle.I think it teaches them something very special about being part of a community. "Our son just finished his time at this kindergarten, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From day one, it was clear the staff genuinely loved and cared for him, not just as "a student" but as an individual. That warmth made all the difference. Academically, he learned so much during his time there. We saw real growth in his confidence, social skills, and curiosity. We could also follow his learning path in an app where we got daily personalized photos and real-time information such as when naps started and ended. The meals were another highlight: breakfast, lunch, and snacks were all freshly prepared with a cook onsite, which we really appreciated as parents and our son loved. They are incredibly knowledgeable and know exactly how to support each child in the best way possible. Every day, we are amazed by the new things our daughter learns—whether it’s singing, acting, or trying something creative. It’s clear that the activities and care help her develop in so many ways. "With a lot of love and pleasure we have had 2 childeren attend the Little Castle over the past 5 years, 1 of them graduated and the other still attending. They both love coming to the little castle and so do me and my husband. It feels like home for us with familiar faces and a lot of smiles. It is always clean and well maintenanced. What we love most is the chef with the fresh meals during the day, the big garden for outside playtime (not very common for Dutch daycare) and the love, personal and educational attention the teachers provide for our children. We are a Dutch family and would recommend the Little Castle to anyone interested. Lastly, unfortunately the only minus for us is the big price increase they have every year. Average price per hour is a lot higher than surrounding daycares and also compared to what we were paying when we started at Zein 5 years ago. We see an increase of ~10% every year."

"Our son was one of the very first kids in the Little Castle when they opened up years ago, and now both our daughters are going there. We couldn’t be more happy about a daycare. The kids are being taken care of with such love and care, the location is great with lots of indoor and outdoor play opportunities. The staff is very friendly and almost like a family to us. And the food! Sometimes I want to sneak into the kitchen to get from those healthy but delicious cookies and cakes."

"This is really an amazing childcare! We’ve come here after a very unfortunate experience in another place, where teachers were constantly changing and I’ve been introduced to a new face almost everyday; where the manager didn’t take any care and would leave for example a fence broken (the children could just go out if unattended) and went on vacation for a week. My daughter was traumatized there by the “cry to sleep” method which I explicitly said I’m against of and offered to come pick her up at anytime; they’ve never called me but one day I’ve discovered they were leaving her alone to cry in the dark room in the “monkey cage” bed (7 months old baby!) I was really afraid to try any other daycare after that experience. But on the very first meeting with Erna I found out they do things very differently here and I loved the way everything was described. Lots of activities done altogether, so no situation where the smaller babies are left alone in the chair for hours which happens in some daycares; sleeping in the floor beds (or cribs for small ones, but we asked if our baby could be in the floor bed and they’ve accepted it) so they aren’t blocked in the “cage”, nice calming music during sleep and the teacher is always present until every child is sleeping. They have a fresh menu being made by a cook during the days, our daughter finally started to eat well there. The teachers are so patient and kind and professional. Our daughter developed so so much since we are here (5 months). Talking more, interacting a lot, singing songs at home that they sing in the daycare, but also painting, showing body parts, dancing, climbing with ease. We started with once a week and now she is going 3 times a week and even after the full day she still wants to stay and play there in the main hall for sometime. She loves it here and I’m so happy to see her like this. There is also a parent room where you can go anytime and even spend there the whole day there if you wish. I highly recommend The Little Castle to anyone, and especially if you had a bad experience in another place and don’t feel like trusting your child to anyone."

"We chose to send our first daughter to Little Castle 6 years ago, we were so satisfied with the experience we had there that we have decided to enrol there also our second child. Our girl love to go there, they do plenty of activities and they learn a lot. We are very satisfied with the professionalism regularly displayed by the nannies, by the location manager and assistant. We feel they are always there for us, they listen whenever we have a doubt or a question. This is quite rare to find! Not to mention the truly remarkable location and the facilities offered."

"Generally I was satisfied. Of course in the end it all depends on which teacher the group has and on the way the manager responds. When our daughter was attending there was a very polite and understanding manager. After some time she left and things changed. But warm cooked food was quite important for us and a nice room for sleep. In most of the daycares in the Hague they fed sandwiches and chips while children slept in "cages". In Zein it was/is different."

"We sent our son to the little Castle. His nose was bit by another child. The nose is swollen and The wound is very deep. We send mail to ask all the details. But their reply is not fully convinced. From their reply we cannot make the complete story. They even did not include time (at what time it happened). We are very disappointed ☹️. Not recommend at all."

"Our daughter has been there for more than a year and we are very pleased. The premises are amazing with beautiful rooms and a big garden with toys, slides, etc. for the kids to play. Every day, the kids have new activities planned, new topics to discuss. They have their own private chef cooking everything from (organic) scratch. The entire staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. They listen to requests and acted on most of them. In a nutshell, a great international daycare. Our daughter is excited to go to school every morning! I have heard negative comments about this place with which I completely disagree. If you do not want your child to be surrounding by other crying babies, get a personal nanny! it is still a day care after all."

"Our daughter went to Zein from when she was 6 months old and at the start we were very pleased with the service. Our first impression was: a daycare where the focus was on kids first with excellent service towards the children. However, the last couple of weeks our daughter’s behavior started changing. She cried loud when we picked her up, and wanted to drink extra in the evenings. Around that time we also saw one of the new teachers yelling at another teacher, in front of us parents. This made us worry what happens when we are not there.. In the following period we saw the same teacher acting stressed out towards the children, snapping at the smallest things (again in front of us, parents). On top of that, when we counted the kids compared to the amount of teachers, they did not comply with the minimum amount of teachers needed. When contacting management about this, we were not taken seriously at all. I only regret not quitting this daycare earlier! At the new daycare they don’t have a personal cook, the building doesn’t look like a castle… But what they do have is less babies per nanny, a nice open building where everyone can hear eachother and a calm atmosphere with occasionally a crying baby, also during busy times in the morning. Clearly, kids do not come first here and parent’s worries about their children are not being taken serious."
